Last year Concordia decided as a congregation to publicly affirm the role of women in ministry. The full resolution is stated below.

The purpose of this is to publicly acknowledge the historical disparity in recognising the equal role of women across all church ministry, and to encourage future recognition and participation of women within our congregational ministry, the Lutheran Church of Australia broadly, and the church as a unified body of Christ.

It is our prayer and hope that congregations in the Lutheran Church of Australia, and the church worldwide, will continue to engage in reflection and discussion of how we embody the love and peace of Christ to all.
