The Church Council has developed a CovidSafe plan towards reopening our church. We are regularly in communication with our users, if you have any questions please get in touch with us.
Phase 2 easing of restrictions begins today, Mon 18 May. Our complete plan is available and sent to all facility users, however the general aspects will be similar to current guidelines:
- <20 people
- 1.5m physical distancing & 4m density
- Comprehensive cleaning before, during, after meetings
- Attendance records for tracing
The current restrictions are too small for our usual Sunday gatherings, however small groups and home groups are increasingly encouraged to begin meeting where possible.
Phase 3 will further ease gathering restrictions to 50 people, currently planned for mid June. Our Sunday worship will continue to be streamed for the near future and we will assess when and how we will transition to a combined online/in-person service format.
We know there are some who are ready to return to public worship while for others it will still be sometime away. We will continue to provide online live and/or recorded services for the foreseeable future.
Blessings to you all
